About Purple Cow Organics
Purple Cow Organics makes activated compost, potting mix, raised bed mix and seed starter from composted municipal yard waste, with added minerals and microbes. It sells through independent garden centers in the Midwest and East Coast, and its professional line serves commercial growers. The company says it recycles about 18 million pounds of green material a year.
